Vaalputs – South Africa

Vasan – Russia

AFRY Intelligent Scenario Modelling was used to implement a methodology (based on the ISAM methodology, IAEA) for assessment of the long-term safety of a near-sur-face repository for low and intermedial level radioactive waste, the so-called Radon facility.

PULS LUCIA – Sweden

Risk assessments for radionuclide releases from all Swedish hospitals. The model LUCIA was developed and applied for estimating doses to workers and the public. The Lucia model has been used in the NKS project that investigates the impact on sewage systems throughout all Nordic Coun-tries.

MERLIN-Expo – EU

The MERLIN-Expo software is based on AFRY Intelligent Scenario Modelling Player, a bespoke software solution developed within the framework of an EC project (LIFE-VERMEER). MERLIN-Expo integrates multimedia, PBPK, and dose-response models on a single platform, enabling comprehensive exposure assessments—from concentrations in water, air, and soil to internal doses in target organs and potential health risks.
